I’m struggling to find a consistent and accurate overall count for this. Can you provide the data source you’ll be using here? What is the current count?

Well, I’m planning to use just the-most-mainstream source I’ll be able to find, which I guess will simply be some CDC or WHO data, but the thing is that the current count, as I understand, is zero because so far there was only one case of clade 1 mpox outside of Africa, and it was in Sweden. So, yeah, there simply seems to be no count so far..

Thanks!

Judging by the close date "this year" means "in 2024", not "one year from now", right?

Yes, exactly, “this year”=“in 2024” in this question. So, even though I’m sort of proud of my English skills, it isn’t really my native language, so I’m really welcoming any advice, and, well, speaking of this occasion - do you think “this year” sounds, like, ambiguous? Should it be, like, “in this year” or simply “in 2024”? Any advice from whoever sees this comment is welcome. Thanks

I think absolute values (like "in 2024") are for the purposes of Manifold almost always better than relative values (like "this year"). I am also not a native speaker, so not sure if the ambiguity in "this year" is real or just imagined by me.
