I lost $500 when Bitcoinica went bankrupt in 2012. My entire claim is in USD. However, there is a chance that I will get back significantly more than $500 IF they decide to treat lost bitcoins at the 2012 market value price (and decide to reimburse all creditors with the entirety of the assets).  If they do this, then there is a huge surplus and I could get as much as $100,000 - $500,000!
