Avraham Eisenberg is a microcelebrity in crypto and prediction market circles. He was arrested on December 26th for financial crimes. More information about his alleged crime can be found in the probable cause affidavit in support of the government's request for an arrest warrant.
He apparently left the United States to visit Israel shortly after committing his alleged crime, calling into question whether he will be allowed to be released on bail. I have gathered that he will have a bail hearing on Friday, December 30th.
