@MattP Another option was “to care about something more than yourself”, but I’ve been reading a little too much about AI recently, and it shows
@Duncan 1 point for being a technically accurate answer, but I can't award any more due to the ambiguity. Little bit of a cop-out. *shrug*
@MartinRandall 2 points for being a generally good answer, +1 point for making me chuckle - 3 points.
@XidaRen regrettably, gotta give this one 0 points because it does not answer the question - which was "what is love?", not "what does love do?".
@MichaelWheatley 1 point for provoking a sensible chuckle, -0.5 points for it being too obvious, rounds up to 1 point.
@Angela 5 points for being, in my judgment, the most accurate answer. -2 points for just posting a wikipedia link and thus requiring elaboration in the comments. Total: 3 points.
Alrighty. Here's how I'm gonna do this: I'm gonna go through and assign points to each answer along with explaining my reasoning. Will probably happen over the next day or so as I've got some other stuff going on. When I've rated all answers, I'll then resolve them proportional to points awarded. Tomorrow, new question!
Also should note, I'm refraining from providing feedback on the answers until after the market closes, at which point I'll provide my scoring rationale for each - which can serve as data for future answers if I keep doing these kinds of navel-gazing philosophical question markets (which sounds fun, so I probably will).
@Angela the ante got devalued by all the other people buying other options, so it was worth less than M$144 by the time you bought in.
Not quite sure exactly how it works but that's the long and short of it.
