Puzzled that the % is so low on this one.
To the extent that SBF has a legal strategy, doing interviews with anyone who asks is a part of it. And Lex was willing to interview Ye during a months-long psychotic episode, so he's shown that he's willing to stoop very low to get attention. (Don't know if he's apologized for interviewing a mentally ill man for clicks -- if he has, I apologize and withdraw my criticism.)
@mr22222222 Lex deleted his episode with Will Macaskill shortly after the SBF story broke

@NathanNguyen It counts as a legal strategy the same way that getting drunk and watching TV for 12 hours each day is a diet and exercise plan. Technically, it describes a regimen of diet and exercise. It's just a terrible one.
