Background

MATHCOUNTS has four levels of competition: school, chapter (local), state and national. Competition questions are written for students in grades 6-8. An individual score of 23 (out of a possible 46) is considered highly commendable. The Sprint Round contains 30 questions and the Target Round contains 8 questions.
