I think this is my next project, once I get the market manager tidied up to a point where I consider it stable

There are 4 routes I could plausibly go with this:

• Fork manifold, work in the dev environment to integrate ActivityPub in the site itself

• Use something like expressjs-ActivityPub to translate

  • Users, groups to users

    • Maybe with different levels of verbosity?

    • Like @v-trades@ap.manifold.markets having only trades, etc

  • Markets, posts, comments to ActivityPub events

• Do the same as above, but using Python and something like federation

• The piecemeal approach

  • Start a mastodon instance

  • Write a script that makes accounts for each user

  • Write a script that converts (action type) into a toot

  • Write a script that watches for a reply to any of these messages and mirrors it on Manifold. Maybe via notifications of these accounts?

  • This is likely a storage-expensive approach
