I've logged every single song I listen to since 2012. Since 2020 I've logged at least 10,000 plays per year until losing my earbuds during a trip to the US (IYKYK) and not listening much since.
I haven't logged a single play this year as of 2025-02-07, but I've just re-upped my Spotify sub and I'm planning to hit at least 25,000 this year.

25k is > 3.5h per day for the remainder of the year, seems difficult. How are you at listening to music while doing work, does it distract you at all?

@draaglom 25,000 / 323d = ~7.7 songs/day. I think my average song is 3.5min, putting me at less than 30min/day. I've averaged 24/day since 2012.
I usually listen to music no matter what I'm doing but I find myself turning it off during particularly difficult programming sessions
