Resolution criteria

This market resolves to the option representing the race that the Japanese thoroughbred Satono Reve officially starts in during the 2026 Ebor Festival at York.

  • Satono Reve will run in the Nunthorpe Stakes: Resolves YES if Satono Reve officially starts in the Coolmore City of Troy Nunthorpe Stakes (scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2026).

  • Satono Reve will run in the City of York Stakes: Resolves YES if Satono Reve officially starts in the Sky Bet City of York Stakes (scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026).

  • Satono Reve will not run in either race: Resolves YES if Satono Reve is declared a non-runner, is withdrawn, or otherwise does not start in either of the two specified races.

Rules and Edge Cases:

  • "Running" or "starting" is defined by the horse officially starting the race (leaving the starting gates under starter's orders). If the horse is withdrawn before the start (declared a non-runner), it does not count as having run.

  • In the extremely unlikely event that the horse starts in both races, the market will resolve to the race he runs in first chronologically.

  • If both races are cancelled or postponed past August 31, 2026, and the horse has not run in either, this market will resolve to "Satono Reve will not run in either race."

  • Resolution will be verified using official race results on the Racing Post Results Page or the York Racecourse Official Website.

Background

Satono Reve, the star Japanese sprinter trained by Noriyuki Hori, has stayed in Europe following his second-place finish in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and third-place finish in the July Cup at Newmarket.

For the 2026 Ebor Festival at York, Satono Reve holds entries in two Group 1 races on consecutive days:

  1. The Coolmore City of Troy Nunthorpe Stakes (5 furlongs, Friday, August 21)

  2. The Sky Bet City of York Stakes (7 furlongs, Saturday, August 22)
