Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to the country that officially wins the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Continental Championship, scheduled to be held in Tianjin, China, from August 21 to August 30, 2026.

Resolution will be based on official standings and results published by:

• The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) official website: asianvolleyball.net

• Official reports from Volleyball World or the FIVB.

If the 2026 tournament is canceled, abandoned, or if no official winner is declared by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to N/A.

Background

The AVC Women's Volleyball Continental Championship (formerly known as the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship) is the premier biennial international volleyball competition for senior women's national teams across Asia and Oceania. Beginning with the 2026 edition, the competition is held in even-numbered years to align with the revised FIVB global calendar.

The 2026 tournament features 12 competing nations. Beyond continental honors, the champion earns a direct quota place for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, while the top three finishers qualify for the 2027 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Cup. Historically, China has dominated the tournament with 13 titles, followed by Japan (5 titles) and Thailand (3 titles). Thailand enters as the reigning champion after winning on home soil in 2023.
