One issue I see with your survey that is probably a bigger problem on manifold than most other places: You're asking people for political affiliation on a scale from liberal to conservative. 'Liberal' in Europe means roughly the same thing as 'libertarian' in the US and libertarian is not an option, but I think you'll find libertarians quite overrepresented here.

For some additional context on my position, I think nuclear is generally an okay form of generation: it's firm power and low carbon. It has some risks but they can be mitigated with enough caution.

My main complaint is something the survey doesn't ask about, which is economics. I think it's too expensive and too slow to build. I have opinions about what causes that (this is the Internet, of course I do), but bottom line is I don't see it getting cheaper. At least, not while maintaining a good safety record.

So, practically everything else gets ranked above it. Except fossil fuels.
