according to estimated consumer surplus per dollar spent
according to my low-effort estimating, in the first few days of Oct
purchased after the beginning of this market
from time of purchase over the rest of the future, attempting to account for flow-through effects (e.g. if I buy a whiteboard and then I do some great thinking using it that I reckon I wouldn't have done otherwise, then I'd sum in the value of that thinking)..
except not counting effects via other Amazon purchases e.g. if I hate a product however it causes me to realize that I should purchase the same in a different flavor, the consequences of that future purchase do not accrue to the first, unsuccessful attempt. If purchasing product A causes me to expect to purchase a stream of product A forever, the consumer surplus from future purchases doesn't all accrue to the first purchase.

Actually just hadn't substantially tried electric toothbrush before, so that got bonus value without the timer aspect.

@Joshua interested in anything someone loves, but best bets are probably things that make life easier or smoother for a person who struggles at the basics of life while being pretty busy with the non-basics, has ADHD and at least much in common with autistic people, sleeps badly, is often in physical pain, likes food convenience but wishes for more e.g. home-cooked food, cares about aesthetics, moves around a lot, and spends money freely. Recently pleased by a keychain device that stops bug bites itching. Long term fave non-obvious purchase was timer caps for pill bottles, so you can automatically see when you last took what.

So far I have tried it about once on about ten mosquito bites I got yesterday. I think they became much less itchy than usual (e.g. it was not a big problem and didn't keep me from sleeping) but not all zero itchy. Glancing at a paper on this mechanism, I think it substantially helps with about 80% of bites.
It works by applying heat to the bite, which feels like you are being burned, so I could imagine a person preferring bites to this. I'm assuming it isn't actually burning but too early to say.
@KatjaGrace I got the mosquito bite tool recommended, it's a fun thing to play with and demo on friends! Kind of looking forward to getting bitten now haha
