Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if my roommate talks in their sleep on or before October 18, 2026 (within 30 days of market creation). It resolves to NO if they do not, or if there is no documented evidence of them doing so by the end of this period.

"Sleep talking" (somniloquy) is defined as any audible, distinct vocalization (words, phrases, or coherent mumbling/laughing) uttered while asleep. Regular snoring, heavy breathing, or non-vocal sounds do not qualify.

Resolution will be based on my honest reporting, which may be verified by:

• Me personally witnessing the event.

• An audio or video recording captured during the night.

• Sleep-tracking mobile application logs (e.g., Sleep Cycle, ShutEye) that record sleep talk.
