An artificial woman sitting in a futuristic cafe, looking longingly to a blur speeding by.

I am intending to read a story I wrote on my youtube channel, and I'd like to try using Dall-E for the thumbnail (Though I'll probably just settle for progrockdiffusion )

Thumbnail

The story is about two Emulated Minds/AIs, one of whom (the main protagonist), is going to get upgraded to going significantly faster. It's also about the protagonist meeting different versions of herself, self-cooperation, and identity exploration in all that.

What I have in mind for the thumbnail (if I were to paint it myself):
The two emulated minds, dating around a coffee, both coded as female as the novellette uses female-by-default pronouns. Viewed from the city. Everything looks mostly normal, maybe passerbys are represented as sort of light spheres to show an element of weirdness.

You may however try whatever else fits the theme: The image I'll choose may not have anything to do with the description above, as long that I feel that it matches the story and vibe I am going for.

This market

Post your answers! I will post the batch of results (though I may filter some to fit the guidelines/etc). I will only give points for one image per batch (its maximum).

If an image is so cool I want to use it immediatly, I will resolve to its prompt 100%. Otherwise, I will use a point system: 1 point if the image is cool/interesting in a way I want to share/save it, 5 points if it's a favorite of mine

Examples

Here are examples of images, their prompt, points, and why (they will not be accepted as answers):

“A concept-art image of two emulated minds dating at a coffee shop, from afar, digital-art in the style of Paul Robertson with a peaceful feeling and an ambiguous time of day.”

2.5 points. By far my favorite. It's exactly the color cheme I want, the sky is a nice indication of weirdness that they are emulated. It feels very empty and I'm not able to get Dall-E to center the characters.

“A concept-art image of two emulated minds dating at a coffee shop, from their perspective, digital-art in the style of Paul Robertson with a peaceful feeling and an ambiguous time of day.”

1.5 points. There's something unique to this one, but I don't know if the color schemes are what I would go for. My biggest problem is that the streets feel very empty.

“Two emulated minds dating, from afar, digital art in the style of 'Blade Runner 2049'”

0.75 points. It is fairly bland and generic, but I like the lines that show their emulations somewhat subtly. I'd probably prefer a blue palette scheme.

I have tried specifying "two female emulated minds" or "two female figures" but it seems the results are subpar whenever I try this.

EDIT: I've been toying with pipe adding, and it seems like it might yield interesting result, judge for yourself:

City | Two female figures dating around a coffee:2 | emulated minds:2 | spirit lights:0.5 | artstation, 8k rendering

Emulated minds | coffee date:2.5 | spirit lights:0.5 | blue:0.5 | artstation, 8k rendering

City:0.3 | Emulated minds | coffee date:2.5 | spirit lights:0.5 | blue:0.5 | artstation, 8k rendering

City | Emulated minds | coffee date:2.5 | spirit lights:0.5 | blue:0.5 | artstation, 8k rendering

I will not be betting on this market (except for subsidies - can't wait for CPMM)

Okay, so what I've learned: - Dall-E is very unwildy. Better stuck with progrock diffusion - Saying to Dall-E "in the style of" works great even for someone who is not in the dataset, it will infer what kind of art this artist sounds like - This kind of market is not conducive to collaboration, people tend to hold back and buy at the end. I should find a way to counteract this, but am not sure how (Maybe "only one answer until I've looked at it"?). I want to find a better way to encourage brainstorming - Related, wait for CPMM free response markets, makes it harder for one person to reap all profits. I'll see how it works with progrock. Thanks a lot for having bet <3
@JoyVoid My experience is that adding “digital art” always makes it much better. Also, sorry for being late minute, I procrastinated doing it too much, it wasn’t on purpose. Maybe explicitly encourage collaboration through tips may help though for that.
@BionicD0LPH1N I'd love to, though I don't think you can tip answers right now. Also no problems, didn't mean to accuse you, it's just a general pattern I've seen that there's an awkwardness behind providing feedbacks and the market being a market. I should sort this one out.

3 ( https://labs.openai.com/s/HibW5XBcmPf48eGij3sDmcEB ) This one is very particular! I'm thinking of using it as a seed to progrockdiffusion, which should earn it more than a point, though not the full 5. It has a lot of what I was looking for, weird elements, nice composition with specific details, I like the overall colors. I really like it, though it has the usual Dall-E weirdness

I want to reward this prompt (tips), though it does not qualify for being chosen. The idea of using dall-e for style transfer did not occur to me, and I love this result.

@JoyVoid hmm. Maybe try again but add "with normal looking hands" at the end? ;-)

@MartinRandall Ah you're right, I'll give more thoughts into modifying the dall-e result myself, the second one is especially easy to modify indeed

@JoyVoid I expected that but thought you'd be able to replace it's meaningless title with your own, depending on placement.
