I have participated in the potato diet last month ( https://slimemoldtimemold.com/2022/04/29/potato-diet-community-trial-sign-up-now-lol/ ), and have had several issues with how SMTM handled it, the recap they've written ( https://slimemoldtimemold.com/2022/07/12/lose-10-6-pounds-in-four-weeks-with-this-one-weird-trick-discovered-by-local-slime-hive-mind-doctors-grudgingly-respect-them-hope-to-become-friends/ ), and some general concerns I have. I intend to write and post an article about my whole experience, good and bad, with the diet, and how it reflects on the credibility of SMTM for me, especially in response to what they have written, and publish it on lesswrong. It will probably be a blogpost as it does not fit the timelessness criterion. The two-sentence TLDR of my issues is that I still feel very confused with their metholodogy in the messages they sent me and absence of pregeristration, had developped some preventable complications they could have foreseen, and it felt as though they were already set on a conclusion before starting. This market closes 24 hours after I publish the post and resolves a week after.
