Gannett owns several newspapers and is known to aggressively cut costs even at the expense of long-term viability. This will resolve yes if Gannett releases a press release announcing layoffs of more than 50 staff from at least two of its newspapers holdings at the same time before the end of 2023, starting from June (again).
