  "Main series" may not have a clear-cut definition, but Princess Peach: Showtime! is definitely not it. Unfortunately "Super Mario Bros." Is way too overloaded a search term for me to find what you're referring to. Adding "new" does not help, lol.

Will a new mainline 3D Mario game release in 2024?

Super Mario 3D World counts as main series to me, but w/e. If you don't want to count it, so be it.

 Not meant to be a dig at those games. I'm just curious when we'll get the next collect-a-thon style game. 3D World is a bit of a different style. But the concept of "main series" is definitely subjective, not an official thing.

A sequel to Odyssey or another main-series game. 3D world/land games wouldn't count. Mario vs Rabbids wouldn't count.
