Manifold Next Word Prediction Market Exit Poll 1

Over the last 10 days I created a series of markets to predict the next word in a sentence to see if the Manifold community could generate a coherent response to the prompt, "write a ten word sentence"

So far the response is, "Manifold will always predict that people are mostly..."

Please wait until day 10 resolves before voting.

This is one of a series of polls that will run for the next few days and will help determine what happens next (if anything).

Thank you for participating.

Don't forget to vote on prompt #2!

Thanks for voting.

There are already 18 votes on the poll. I can't see what they are, but they are probably mostly No since there isn't a coherent sentence yet. You might want to redo the poll after the last market closes, or exclude early votes.

@PlasmaBallin ?

The sentence was, "Manifold will always predict that people are mostly pretty silly"

You don't think that's coherent?

@GordanKnott Oh, I thought it wasn't finished yet because of the ellipses in the description.

I hope Eli drops a massive whale dump on Rationalussy and this turns out to be a No

@VAPOR wouldn't that still be a coherent sentence?

@GordanKnott do you mean grammatically correct?

The definition of the word being "rationalist p*ssy" I hear, most people are pretty rationalist pussy... You know what 51% of the global population are women... You could be right

@VAPOR a sentence can be coherent without being grammatically correct. Coherence in language primarily deals with the logical connections and the overall sense or meaning conveyed by the text or speech. It's about how understandable or clear the message is. Grammar, on the other hand, is about the rules that govern the structure of sentences.
