It was doomed at "despite their horror." It's not uncommon to be horrified that something is backwards. Say, an undergarment. But something backwards despite your horror? No. If it's horrifying you probably wish it would reverse.

But opportunity! Make a coherent sentence in which "Rationalussy" is the subject.
@ClubmasterTransparent "to their horror" was winning at one point. Writing a sentence backwards is not a trivial task. Its interesting that it got close to succeeding. Maybe with more people and/or fewer wealthy individuals gaming the system, it would've worked?
@GordanKnott could be tried again. Seems "Rationalussy" will rear its ugly head, so to speak, no matter what else happens, so why not start with that.
