Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if the Vancouver Whitecaps FC officially announce, confirm, or complete a relocation to a city outside of the Greater Vancouver area before 11:59 PM PT on December 31, 2034. Otherwise, this market resolves to NO.

The official source for resolution will be press releases from Major League Soccer (MLS) or the Vancouver Whitecaps FC organization. If the club remains in Vancouver but undergoes a rebranding, ownership change, or plays temporary home games elsewhere due to stadium renovations, this does not constitute a relocation.

Background

The Vancouver Whitecaps have been a member of Major League Soccer since 2011 and currently play their home matches at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. As of April 2026, there have been no credible official reports or indications of plans to relocate the franchise.
