Help me understand where I should visit (or re-visit) before the guide is announced!
Resolution criteria
This is an independent multiple-choice market. Each option will resolve independently to YES, NO, or N/A based on the inaugural selection of the MICHELIN Guide South Australia, which is scheduled to be officially revealed in October 2026.
The primary source of truth will be the official MICHELIN Guide website and official Michelin press releases.
Stars are the bar for every option unless stated otherwise. Inclusion in the guide as a Bib Gourmand or MICHELIN Selected restaurant is insufficient and counts as NO.
Specific Restaurant Options (e.g., Restaurant Botanic, Africola, etc.) will resolve to YES if the restaurant is awarded 1, 2, or 3 MICHELIN Stars in the inaugural South Australia selection. Otherwise, they will resolve to NO.
Regional Options (At least one restaurant on Kangaroo Island gets a star / At least one restaurant in the Barossa Valley gets a star) will resolve to YES if at least one restaurant physically located in the respective region is awarded 1 or more MICHELIN Stars. Otherwise, they will resolve to NO.
Star-count Options (Restaurant Botanic receives 2+ stars / Two or more restaurants receive 2+ stars) will resolve based on the star ratings awarded in the inaugural selection.
Closing / Renaming: If a listed restaurant permanently closes before the selection is announced and is not listed, it will resolve to NO. If a restaurant changes its name but remains open at the same location under the same core culinary team, it will resolve based on the status of the renamed venue.
Timeline Shift: If the announcement of the inaugural guide is delayed beyond December 31, 2026, the market will remain open and resolve when the official announcement is made. If the guide's release is officially cancelled, all options will resolve to N/A.
