The United States government needs to pass an appropriations bill by March 1 to prevent a partial government shutdown, or by a week later to prevent a full government shutdown. Will the bill passed to prevent or end the shutdown be a continuing resolution, like the other recent ones, or will it be a longer term funding bill?
