This question will resolve as "Yes" if by January 1, 2040, any of the following are true:

1. Sam Altman has direct or indirect control over organizations, resources and assets that cumulatively represent over 50% of world nominal GDP, with the practical ability to unilaterally direct their use.

2. Sam Altman holds a globally recognized position granting him overriding decision-making authority on matters pertaining to at least 50% of the global population or economy, even without direct control of resources.

3. Credible sources report that Sam Altman is widely considered to have unrivaled global influence and power, even if not quantitatively measurable.
