I don't really see how they'd do it without manually curating them. It's not like you have to enter any kind of date info for the market creation - hell, they're designed to be able to handle squishier questions that might not have clear resolution dates. 

We've just implemented a feature to halt trading if the date is past a certain closing time for new markets. I think that's. close enough to your original question for this to resolve YES.

At this time, we can still trade on markets that are 100% determined, having passed the event/final date. Will MM add a feature that eliminates this before January 15th, 2022? This question will resolve in the affirmative if I, an unpaying member, can clearly see that this feature has been implemented.
