Okay, given that the majority of the suggestions were not companies that I use anyway, I'm judging this as "if I could magically put together a broadcast that would effectively convince 10% of (American) patrons to stop business with this company, which would be best". This still leaves a lot open to interpretation, but given a limited but (I think) reasonable interpretation, the choice becomes pretty easy. I'm not certain that this best matches the spirit of the question, in that most people probably made some assumptions about why one would 'boycott' vs. 'not patronize', so I also applied the standard of "if I were required to give $100,000,000 unconditional loans to 9 of these companies, which would I leave out?"; the answer remained the same, although less strong.

@LucaMasters A strong contender; I'm uncertain why you didn't go with Cargill, but no one else did either.

@Electricitypipe Props for being the only one to provide sources! Reading about Nestle, my opinion of them has actually gone up, not down, mostly because my opinion was already very low, but also because they seem to be willing to try to fix things that other companies will just ignore. But they are also fairly bad at fixing things.
