Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to the option representing the player who scores the first official, non-own goal during regular time in the Argentina vs. England FIFA World Cup Semifinal match on July 15, 2026.
Regular time is defined as the 90 minutes of regulation play plus any added injury/stoppage time. Goals scored during extra time (the two 15-minute periods after regulation) or in a penalty shootout will not count toward resolution.
Own goals do not count for settlement. If the first goal of the match is ruled an own goal, it will be bypassed, and the market will resolve based on the next valid goal scored in regular time. If no goals are scored in regular time(90 min + stoppage time), or if the only goals scored in regular time are own goals, the market will resolve to "No goal in regular time".
The market will be resolved using official match data provided by the FIFA Match Centre. If official FIFA reports are delayed or inaccessible, reputable sports news outlets such as ESPN or BBC Sport will be used as fallback sources.
Subsequent, post-match panel reviews altering goal attribution after the day of the match will not affect resolution.
