I have previously worked as a software developer and ML engineer. I stopped working when I went to get my masters degree in analytics from GA tech. Graduated last December, have been looking and applying to data analyst/ data scientist/ ml engineering jobs since.

I've done about 600 applications. I've gotten to the final round of interviews 4 or 5 times now. No offers yet, obviously.

I just had a second interview at a well-liked defense contractor and it went quite well. They said they're only able to hire for the position if they get specific contracts / renewals which is obviously out of my control. We'd find out around September/ October
