Resolution criteria
This market resolves to the player with the highest in-game score when the EU4 Twitter Nostalgia multiplayer campaign ends.
Scoring: This is a score game with no victory cards. The winner is the player with the highest total score in the in-game score ledger at the final save, as confirmed by Pete.
End point: The campaign ends when Pete declares it finished, either at 1821 or at a final session he names. If the game stops before 1821 but Pete declares a final save, the score at that save counts.
Ineligible players: Pete and Tom L are recused from scoring and cannot win. If either of them has the top score, the market resolves to the highest-scoring eligible player.
Tag switches: Each answer represents the player, not the nation’s name. The rules allow one tag switch (any tag, flag or name change), so if Emile forms the Netherlands, for example, his entry still counts.
Drops and replacements: If a player drops and someone else takes over their nation, the answer follows the nation slot.
Eliminated nations: A player whose nation is annexed or eliminated cannot win.
Ties: If two or more players tie for the top score, the market resolves equally split between them.
Other: Resolves “Other” only if the winner isn’t one of the listed answers, for example a player who joins after the market opens with a new nation, or if the campaign is abandoned and Pete does not declare a final save or winner.
Background
This is a community multiplayer EU4 campaign among the EU4 Twitter/X crowd, which started on 4 October. The rules are “Noob Friendly - No Sweat”: Normal difficulty, PvAI only during the Age of Discovery, and PvP from the Age of Reformation onwards.
