We ended up partly giving up, but it turned out that one of our Twitter friends had worked as an installer for the same trampoline company and was able to help us out.

You don't get to pause on trampoline-related fights, those are part of the process.

@KevinBurke As it turns out, these are special trampolines! They're spring-free, so have a bunch of semi-flexible rods that have to get bent into the correct position. This turns out to be a very annoying task.
