This market resolves YES if Donald J. Trump makes a public, explicit endorsement of any individual as a candidate for President of Brazil in the 2026 election at any time from market creation until the earlier of the moment the TSE officially proclaims the elected President for the 2026 election.

What counts as an “explicit endorsement”:
What counts as an “explicit endorsement”: A clear statement from Trump that he supports a named person for President of Brazil (e.g., “I endorse ___,” “I support ___ for President,” “Vote for ___,” or unambiguous equivalents in English/Portuguese).

What does NOT count:

  • Generic praise/criticism without explicitly backing someone “for President”

  • Support for a party/movement without naming a person

  • Posts that merely repost/quote others without Trump’s clear endorsement language

  • Statements by Trump staff/surrogates unless Trump himself clearly endorses

Background (non-binding): Trump previously signaled support for Jair Bolsonaro during Brazil’s 2022 campaign, including an endorsement reported in early September 2022 and a pro-Bolsonaro campaign video shared on October 1, 2022.
In Brazil’s 2018 election, I found reporting that Trump congratulated Bolsonaro after his victory, but I did not find a clear pre-election endorsement.
