Resolution criteria

• Independent multiple choice: multiple answers can resolve YES.

• At market close (per Manifold’s timer), each answer resolves based on a public approval-vote poll listing all eligible answers. The poll link will be pinned in the market description and in a top comment at least 48 hours before close; final results on that poll are the sole source of truth.

• Eligibility: answers must be added ≥48 hours before poll open. Exact duplicate text entries will be merged; otherwise all distinct answers remain.

• Scoring: an answer resolves YES if ≥50.0% of unique voters select it on the poll; otherwise NO. Percentages are taken from the poll’s final tally, rounded to one decimal place, threshold inclusive.

• If the poll is delayed for technical reasons, market close will be extended until the poll has run for at least 48 hours; no N/A resolutions.

Background

• This is a community preference poll; anyone can add brunch items. Examples already suggested include Bottomless mimosas, Avocado toast, Pancakes with glitter, and Cold brew & drama.

• “Bottomless mimosas” means unlimited refills during a sitting (terminology varies by locale). “Pancakes with glitter” should be interpreted as using edible, food-safe glitter.

Considerations

• Option bloat can split approvals; traders may want to consolidate near-duplicates early.

• Results depend on turnout and the specific Manifold audience; approval voting allows multiple items to succeed.
