The NWS calls for extreme lake effect snow in Chicago on Sunday night into Monday, with accumulations from 12-18 inches, and even beyond, possible. Snowfall rates could be from 3-5 inches per hour.
I live near the Chicago Lakeshore, and will, to the best of my ability, take sample measurements of the snowfall at a park near my apartment and at the lakeshore once the snow has ended. If the average of these 2 measurements is over 8 inches, then this market will resolve to yes.
I will be happy to give updates on current snowfall totals in my area, assuming I am awake when you ask.
There is some subjectivity to this market so I have decided I will not trade on it.
