I will create more questions for different questions later
If you bet NO I am curious about your reasoning in the comments.
If you want more info added, ask in the comments as well, if I am ok with sharing it, I will add it to the description.
To make it more fun, and since I have to believe in myself, I will always buy YES especially when it's low, BUT I will only allow myself to sell shares if the liquidity reaches $5000+ as a way to stabilize the market.
In the previous question I invested more than 50% of my net worth, and even though I lost it all, i honestly resolved the question:
Background/Context
I've been self-employed for the last 3.5 years in the YouTube space as my own agency with my friends and a Youtube Strategist with 50M+ views. I've been learning about business for a long time.
I've done high school, but have decided to not go to university.
During that time my personal highest earning month was around $3,000.
The highest that the agency itself earned was around $6,000.
My highest income month from strategy work etc was ~$6,000
Right now I have around 2,500 followers on Twitter.
My current income sources:
(At the time market was opened)
Agency client (been with him for 2 years now): consistent minimum $125/mo. On good months $300.
I believe this will increase over time as we're going to be posting more videos and we're venturing into a new niche that has more potential right now.
However he may not be my main time priority
Consultation client: $2,400 but based on packages rather than monthly
Income here is inconsistent as it depends on when he wants to do calls, therefore I can't control how frequently I get paid.
Right now it's about every ~2 months, Likely will be increased as we're slowing getting the production cycle more consistent
My plan
My actual mid-term goal (6-9 months) is to establish myself as one of the biggest authorities in the niche, I plan to do so by doing a programme/challenge that hasn't been ever done before.
To do so, I will need to:
Learn even more about how to start, manage, automate and grow YT channels
Have at least ~5 of my own YT channels
Have at least 5k/mo to invest into this and other channels
To create those ~5 channels I will also need at least 2k-4k/mo to invest into starting them (editors, thumbnail designers etc) and other learning opportunities (coaches etc)
This makes cash ($15k or 4-5k/mo) my shorter-term goal (3-6 months), meanwhile learning is also a priority.
First I will try to partner with an expert who already does this, to manage channels he will invest in. (He said he'll get back to me in January)
This will be most ideal if he accepts, since I get to both earn and learn
Alternatively, I will use my existing income sources + additional freelancing that I am specialized in (thumbnail concept ideas etc), for $200-$250 per video.
I will first reach out to 2-3 people to do it for free, then use them as case studies to post on my Twitter, from there I will find more and more clients.
This has the potential of up to around 5k/mo if i get enough regular clients and depending on my time investment
If either 1. or 2. are successful, OR i simply save up from my existing income (my monthly expenses are $125/mo), I will start my own channels asap.
Each channel has the potential to earn anywhere from $1,000 up to $10,000+/month.
Updates
Here I will be posting updates below as i progress
Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve YES if:
My total monthly pre-tax profit from all sources reaches or exceeds $10,000 for at least 2 consecutive months.
If I reach $10,000/mo in December only this also counts, but not if it's any other month.
If any 2 months average is $10k+/mo that also counts, as imo that also signifies the same.
i.e month 1 = $5k, month 2 = $15k
I will post a screenshot of my bank statements for 2 relevant months IF I resolve YES (since I will only be buying YES).
I will count both the money still arriving and what has arrived in my account.
I will not be counting revenue, only pre-tax profit
