Many highly informative discussions happen in the per-market comment sections. However sometimes a user leaves a comment that they think better of later, and wish to remove.
Will Manifold fix this problem by adding the ability to delete previously-posted comments? This market will resolve to YES if a button or other interface change makes it possible to delete your own comments by the end of 2024
It still counts as a deletion even if some trace is left saying e.g. "[this comment was removed]". It doesn't count as deleted if other users can click a button to reveal that comment (i.e. hide comment functionality doesn't count)

@TheAllMemeingEye Yes, but the comment is still there and people can see the edit history.
So if you post something embarrassing, there's no real way to persistently remove it.
