When I try soap carving with my five year old, will she seriously attempt to sculpt something?

I bought some carving tools and plan to at some point set up with them and a bar of soap each for me and the kiddo. Will she try to make a shape of any kind or will she just shred the bar into a pile of shavings and chunks?

Yes, a simple shape counts as long as she has some sort of plan beyond destruction and attempts to execute it.
Does some kind of circle or some such count as a shape?
