Me and a few friends were discussing since earlier this year that we wanted to visit the Addis Jazz Festival in 2027 https://addisjazzfestival.com/
A few weeks ago - shortly after dates were announced for 2027 - three of us booked flights and hotels. However, now it looks like the civil war is not only back but heating up. There are also rumors that Eritrea has invaded Ethiopia.
Context: If the festival was next week I'd cancel. If the war ends before mid-January or so, I'll probably go. I'd also go if the situation in and around Addis remains stable and safe. However, my decision also hinges on what my friends do, since I don't want to go by myself.
This market resolves YES if I attend the festival in 2027 an NO if I do not. I will not participate in this market.
