Nigel Richards has made headlines by winning the French World Scrabble Championships multiple times despite not being fluent in the language (more on that in my video essay on him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-8NrvVqbT4).

He will play in the Spanish-language championships in November 2024 (see https://escribescrabble.blogspot.com/2024/09/nigel-richards-ahora-en-espanol.html?fbclid=IwY2xjawFns2hleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHZZCy2i3825KnSAAyxuWZH-FLDUv7oMtZrUbg7G07_AOTd01y7RjWVzIPw_aem_1fTA7cLnP3qXU9nWTglP2g).

In that tournament, there are two modes of competition: "classical" Scrabble which is just the board game as we know it, and "Duplicate", which consists of each player being given the same letters and board position, with the task being to simply identify the highest-scoring move on the board regardless of what is the strategically best move.

This questions resolves YES if Nigel wins the classical competition. Resolves N/A if he doesn't participate in the classical tournament.
