John Green (bestselling author, YouTuber known from vlogbrothers etc.) is perhaps the most prominent, and very passionate supporter of AFC Wimbledon (e. g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yA7W1MmQH58). On his podcast with his brother, there's a segment on the club in every episode. In that context, John has sometimes talked about the dream that he might one day see the club make it to the Premier League.

The club was founded by fans after the original Wimbledon Football Club was transformed into, as John would say, the franchise currently plying its trade at Milton Keynes (the MK Dons).

Wimbledon started in the 9th tier of English football and in about a decade made it to the 3rd tier. They are currently back down to the 4th tier.

Making it to the Premier League seems like a long shot, and John obviously knows this, but how long a shot exactly? Resolves as YES if AFC Wimbledon ever play a game in the top flight of English football (doesn't have to be called "Premier League") within John's lifetime. For simplicity, all that counts is if John is alive, not if he is conscious of the event (e. g. in a coma still resolves as YES).
