Background
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last nine meetings with Chelsea, winning six. In the league meeting between the two sides this season, Chelsea and Arsenal drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge in November. Chelsea have won the Carabao Cup five times, most recently in 2015, while Arsenal are two-time winners of the Carabao Cup but have not lifted the trophy since 1993.
Considerations
Liam Rosenior takes charge of the Blues for the second time on Wednesday, making this his first major test as Chelsea manager. Arsenal are the Premier League leaders and unbeaten in their last seven trips to Stamford Bridge.
