Manifold plays poker - will there be a bidding war for the seats in hand 1?

According to the buyin rules, players need to take a betting position of at least 20 Mana to join in, and the seats are limited to eight players. If more than eight people want to play, the players with the largest betting positions in the buyin market will get a seat at the table.

Will this lead to a bidding war where players end up needing to get a bigger position to keep their seat at the table?

What counts as a bidding war for the purposes of this market? The following guidelines should explain what I mean:

If it's possible to get a seat for 20 Mana, there has been no bidding war

If eight or fewer people want to play, there has been no bidding war

If players who already have a positio of 20 Mana or more (such as me, @cloe, @brubsby or @A) need to increase our position to qualify for the game, that's indicative of a bidding war. If we need to increase our position more than once, that's pretty much definitely a bidding war

If the cutoff to play is above 25 Mana and people who would have liked to play fall below that, that's indicitive of a bidding war

If a player needlessly gets a large position in the buyin market even though they could have easily qualified for the game with a smaller position, that's not inditive of anything
