This resolves Yes if I meet someone distinctly barbarian-y, No if I meet no one at all barbarian-y, and 50% if I'm unsure whether the people I meet are barbarian-y enough to justify a full Yes or No.

I imagine that a barbarian is very large and very strong. They might have an impressive tolerance for pain, a sense of when danger is near, and the ability to channel their rage towards the destruction of their enemies. They might be very good at holding their liquor, but not very good at holding obscure knowledge in their memory. They probably are not wearing much in the way of armor, in order to show off their muscles. 

It is okay if I meet the barbarian outside of Manifest itself, as long as it's still on my trip to Berkely from Friday-Monday.

I may post comments when I spot possible barbarians, although I may not go out of my way to talk to them as the conference will probably be pretty busy.
