Russia announces new wave of mobilization before November 2026

Question

New wave of mobilisation of personnel as rumoured by some telegram channels. Must be called "mobilisation" by the Russian government (possibly with extra adjectives") OR use the same lagal structure a general mobilization would use as it's main legal background.

This market resolves purely based on announcements/admissions by the Russian government.

I will not trade. Updates to criteria based on feedback welcome in the first 7 days of the question.

Update 2026-04-07: the previous update was wrong. To clarify, this market resolves YES even if the government does not ever call the events "mobilisation" as long as government sources (broadly construed) admit/announce that a large number of people were enlisted in a short time without pretending they volunteered.

Update 2026-08-29 (PST) (AI summary of creavtor comment): * An announcement or admission by the Russian government is not required if the event unambiguously functions as a mobilization.

The market will resolve to YES if a large number of people are enlisted in a short time without pretending they volunteered, representing a qualitative change from the current approach.

Resolution can be based on whether Western military analysts (such as those published in Foreign Affairs or War on the Rocks) broadly agree it is a mobilization.
