Articles of impeachment against Attorney General Pam Bondi are being drafted by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), but no final decisions have been made on whether to move them forward. This market resolves YES if an article of impeachment against Bondi pass the House of Representatives. The Epstein Files Transparency Act, passed with near-unanimous bipartisan votes in both chambers, mandated the release of all files on Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell by December 19, 2025. Rep. Ro Khanna accused Bondi of denying the existence of many records for months, only to push out "an incomplete release with too many redactions" in response to—and in violation of—the new law. Bondi was sworn in as the 87th United States Attorney General on February 5, 2025, following her confirmation by the Senate in a 54-46 vote.

Impeaching a cabinet official is rare (the last time was 1876, when a Secretary of War was impeached). Khanna stated that "impeachment is a political decision" and questioned whether there is sufficient support in the House, saying "Massie and I aren't going to just do something for the show of it". An impeachment effort would test the loyalty of congressional Republicans, the majority of whom didn't sign the discharge petition forcing the Epstein Files Transparency Act vote, but almost unanimously voted to pass it.
