Riot was acquired by Tencent in 2011. Vanguard operates at the kernel level and is only launched during boot. In order to play games that require this (League of Legends and Valorant) you must let it run 24/7. The Chinese Government took a "golden share" of Tencent last year.

Resolves Yes if any moves are made by US Government in regards to Tencent, Vanguard or Riot Games.
