The California Condor is a New World Vulture and the largest land bird in North America. It became Extinct in the Wild in 1987, but captive individuals have since been reintroduced to the wild in California, Arizona and Baja California, Mexiko. It will also resolve YES if there is other strong evidence that the species is completly extinct, including captive individuals.
