Resolution Criteria
The market resolves YES if Georgia defeats Texas on November 15, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Resolution will be determined by the final score as reported on ABC or official NCAA records. Overtime counts as a single game result.
Background
Fifth-ranked Georgia (8-1, 6-1 SEC) hosts No. 10 Texas (7-2, 4-1 SEC) for the first time in Athens. Georgia defeated Texas twice last season, including a 30-15 regular season win and a thrilling overtime finish in the SEC Championship. ESPN's metrics give Georgia a 59.8% chance to win, with oddsmakers favoring the Bulldogs by 6.5 points. Georgia enters on a five-game SEC win streak, while Texas is coming off a bye week and will likely be much more rested than the Bulldogs.
Considerations
Before Alabama defeated them earlier this season, Georgia had a 33-game winning streak at home; the last time Georgia lost multiple home games in one season was in 2016. Texas quarterback Arch Manning was heavily pursued by Georgia during his recruitment but ultimately committed to the Longhorns.
